All members are encouraged to attend the Regular Business Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th; it will begin promptly at 4:15pm. ALL NEWLY ELECTED AND APPOINTED SHOP STEWARDS MUST ATTEND AND BE SWORN IN TO YOUR POSITIONS. Per our bylaws, all Stewards that are unable to attend must send notice with reason to Recording Secretary, Sandy Field (sfield2202@gmail.com).

We will be collecting warm clothing and blankets for community service, as well as non perishable items. Also, will be having a MNPL 50/50 raffle, so bring some change.

AS/VX Transition Agreement Reached

On Saturday February 18th, the IAM and Alaska Airlines ageed to terms on a Transistion Agreement merging VX workers into the IAM Clerical, Operational and Passenger Services CBA. See the attached release by Distirct Lodge 142.

NO MORE OUTSOURCING RALLY!

Please Join us at the Local as we Rally against Outsourcing. Alaska Airlines has made it clear that they intend to Outsource a number of Reservations Jobs and we need to stand up against it! Call it what it is, a race to the bottom!

Thursday and Friday

February 16th and 17th

11am-4pm

Meet at the Local at 11am then march down to the SEATAC Airport Flag Pavillion.

Lets show our Sisters and Brothers in Reservations all the support we can drum up, the next people the company comes after could be YOUR Jobs!
