Early leave/VSIers can't count Dist 143 General Chair Jackie Fay reported at the Nov 18th monthly meeting that Alaska Airline's reported that in prior early-leave's and the large VSI departure of recent years, Alaska Airlines did not contest those applicants for unemployment benefits. At a recent meeting however, management advised they would be challenging such applicants and forwarned that expected benefits may not be available to those leaving the company with the most recent early-leave offering.
